Sound of the TV
She heard the TV echoing around the house. She was confident because everything went as planned. She bent down and opened the hatch just a bit more. She opened the hatch just enough to check if there was no danger down the corridor.
Going down
Lily lowered the stairs until she was ready to descend. Lily was aware that the stairs would creak the moment she stepped onto them, so she moved quickly and carefully. She lifted herself by the sidewalls of the stairwell to lessen her weight.
