Filing for divorce
Lily tossed and turned all night in her bed. She felt betrayed by her lover, to whom she had been meant to trust her life. The next morning, she filed for divorce. She would never be able trust her husband or in-laws ever again.
Thom and a promise
She was most going to miss Thom. She looked forward to their weekly conversations every week. She realized that he had no idea about his son’s and wife’s plans, so she made a promise to him. Every Tuesday, they would dine out together.
