She wasn’t a thief at all!
Melissa’s eyes were filled with tears when she followed the policeman to his car. She climbed into the back seat. She was embarrassed. People were looking at her from the street and probably thought that she was a burglar!
She tried to calm down but was unable to do so because she didn’t know what was happening.
